["Day" turned out to be a bit of a misnomer. The sun went down sometime in the afternoon, the moon floated across the sky for a few hours, and the sun returned in the morning. It's been far too long since Shin had experienced such blessed normalicy.
And yet... He still wasn't fully human. Part of him worried he may never get that part of himself back. It seemed so likely, given his personal track record of making mistakes that could never be fixed. He knew Miss Wagner saw him as a threat, so how would he finally get home if the changes were permanent? Would he even get the chance to leave Krakow?
